Dr. Herbek was born and raised in Princeton, KY. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky and earned his D.V.M. from Auburn University in 2004. After graduation, Dr. Herbek joined Southside Vet Clinic and later became a partner of Gateway Animal Care Group in 2008. Dr. Herbek is a member of the AVMA. His interest is in small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Herbek and his wife, Amanda, have a daughter, Brooklyn, and two sons, Tanner and Flint. Pets include dogs, Rizzo, Theo, Lisle, and Maple, along with several cats.  When not in the clinic, he's usually at the baseball field or soccer field most weekends, watching his kids play.  When time allows, his family enjoys travelling and seeing new places.
