Hi, I’m Katie! I’ve been in the pet care field for 10 years including but not limited to kennel management, dog training, grooming services, and vet med! I am a MCHS alumni and a graduate of their Animal Science Academy. I have been with Southside since April of 2021 as a veterinary assistant and am currently pursuing my Veterinary Technician Degree. My husband and I have 6 dogs (5 GSDs and a coondog), 4 cats, 2 horses, and a flock of chickens! I have loved my time at Southside, it really solidified my passion for animal healthcare. I take pride in providing the best care possible for my patients and being as informative as possible with clients. In my free time I enjoy hunting, trail riding, and fishing with my husband, spending time with our fur kids, and showing my horse competitively in various ranch and local associations.
