Dr. Miyakawa grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at the University of Kentucky in 2004. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2008. She has a cat named Emma and 3 children that keep her busy. Dr. Miyakawa enjoys emergency medicine and dermatology.
